PUNE: The Union Ministry of Minority Affairs has empanelled the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to offer job-oriented training programmes for minority community students to prepare them for careers in Information Technology (IT), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and other IT-Enabled Services (ITES). They will be trained in IT project management, business computing, java programming and software quality assurance. The selected students will be entitled to stipends while 30 per cent of the total intake will be reserved for girl students. The last date for submission of applications is March -8-2010
